Back in 2010, Ron and Celia met unbeknownst to each other–Celia being the lead female vocalist with Rhythm Edition Band, and Ron with a background in Law Enforcement, were both at a local bar venue one spring night. Celia was there as a performer and Ron just blowing off some steam from the work week. Ron’s attention was fully undivided when Celia was on stage. And from there, the beauty unfolded.
January, 2011, was a new chapter for Ron and Celia as they embarked on their newly announced engagement to be married.
Ron and Celia decided to embrace the surroundings of the downtown city charm, and show off their love for each other here at the epicenter of Phoenix, AZ, Heritage Square.
This is a fun-loving couple, who completely committed to blending their lives and families. And so the wedding planning began.
Embracing their culture and heritage, Ron and Celia decided to marry at Eva’s Fine Mexican Restaurant in Casa Grande, AZ. Each were surrounded by loving family members from the moment we arrived and we couldn’t help to feel the warmth of this family radiating everywhere!
This was a beautiful day for Ron in full groom attire and a full smile to match!
Hanging in the outdoor atrium of this venue, we just had to show off Celia’s wedding dress in all its glory. The dress appeared angelic in the rays of the sun, foreshadowing the striking beauty of the bride and the wedding ceremony.
We captured the often forgotten, unseen, glorious heels, which gave Celia extra sparkle, head to toe! Literally! The engagement ring awaits its companion.
Even flowergirls require their social media reprieve!
Celia was complimented in a ruched, full ball gown wedding dress with beaded and embroidered detailing…
An endearing moment with Celia’s son, Michael, as he helps her put on her final piece of bridal jewelry.
Moments before the ceremony, the bride and groom decided to pursue an almost “first-look”…
And as the ringbearers prepared the rings onto the pillows, the flower girls giggled and readied to head down the aisle, preparing its path for the bride–the ceremony began. The hush fell over the casita and I believe we held our breath when Celia glided down the aisle to meet her groom.
Vows and tears were exchanged in these moments captured in the mid-day light…
A moment with the bride…
We custom-designed the wedding cake to match the dress and bridal theme, and incorporated the culture and traditions of the family, as requested from the bride and groom. Red rose buds and heart-shaped petals are hand-crafted sugar flowers, on black and white hand-piped filigree.
The Lopez’s were enraptured by the sun, sealing their love for each other…
